Effective Date: January 1, 2024
Warranty Term
All new plants installed by Fine Touch Services are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers the replacement of plant material only and applies solely to plants that fail due to defects in material or installation.
Client Responsibilities (Required for Warranty Validity)
This warranty is only honored if proper watering and care have been consistently performed by the client, including but not limited to:
● Adequate and regular watering appropriate for the specific plant type
● Proper maintenance during establishment (especially during the first 90 days)
● Reasonable protection from physical damage, pets, pests, or neglect
● Compliance with any care instructions provided by Fine Touch Services
Failure to properly water or maintain plants will void this warranty.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover plant loss or damage caused by:
● Drought, overwatering, or improper irrigation
● Extreme weather conditions (freeze, excessive heat, flooding, storms, etc.)
● Acts of nature, insects, disease, animals, or vandalism
● Soil conditions not disclosed prior to installation
● Relocation or disturbance of plants after installation
Labor & Replacement Terms
● Replacement plants, if approved under warranty, will be provided one time only.
● Labor, delivery, removal, and installation costs are not included unless otherwise stated in writing.
● Replacement plants are warranted only for the remainder of the original warranty period, not a new one-year term.
Inspection & Approval
All warranty claims must be reported promptly and are subject to inspection and approval by Fine Touch Services.
Warranty Term
All landscape lighting systems installed by Fine Touch Services are warranted for a period of five (5) years from the date of installation.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers manufacturer defects and installation-related defects only, as determined by inspection from Fine Touch Services. Coverage is limited to the lighting fixtures, transformers, and wiring installed by Fine Touch Services.
What Is Covered
● Manufacturer defects in lighting components
● Failures caused by improper installation performed by Fine Touch Services
What Is NOT Covered
This warranty does not cover damage, failure, or malfunction caused by, including but not limited to:
● Physical damage, impact, or vandalism
● Damage caused by lawn equipment, vehicles, pets, or foot traffic
● Alteration, relocation, or repair performed by anyone other than Fine Touch Services
● Improper use or misuse of the lighting system
● Power surges, lightning, or electrical issues outside of the installed system
● Acts of nature, flooding, or extreme weather conditions
Labor & Replacement Terms
● Replacement of defective components will be provided one time only, subject to approval.
● Labor, service calls, and reinstallation costs may apply unless otherwise stated in writing.
● Replacement components are covered only for the remainder of the original five-year warranty period, not a new term.
Inspection & Approval
All warranty claims must be reported in a timely manner and are subject to inspection and approval by Fine Touch Services prior to repair or replacement.
Warranty Void Conditions
This warranty is void if the lighting system is damaged, modified, or serviced by anyone other than Fine Touch Services.
Warranty Term
All paver installations performed by Fine Touch Services are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers installation-related defects only, as determined by inspection from Fine Touch Services. Coverage applies to pavers and base materials installed by Fine Touch Services.
What Is Covered
● Settling, shifting, or separation caused by improper base preparation or installation
● Edge restraint failure resulting from installation defects
What Is NOT Covered
This warranty does not cover conditions or damage caused by, including but not limited to:
● Normal wear and tear, efflorescence, or surface discoloration
● Cracking or chipping due to impact, excessive loads, or misuse
● Damage from vehicles exceeding designed load limits
● Soil movement, erosion, or drainage issues beyond the installation area
● Freeze/thaw cycles, extreme weather, flooding, or acts of nature
● Alteration, removal, or repair performed by anyone other than Fine Touch Services
Maintenance & Client Responsibilities
Proper maintenance is required to maintain warranty coverage, including:
● Keeping paver joints filled and free of debris
● Avoiding use of de-icing salts or chemicals unless approved for pavers
● Preventing heavy equipment or vehicles from driving on non-rated areas
Failure to properly maintain the paver surface will void this warranty.
Labor & Repair Terms
● Approved warranty repairs will be performed one time only.
● Warranty coverage is limited to the affected area and does not include adjacent or unaffected sections.
● Repairs do not reset or extend the original one-year warranty period.
Inspection & Approval
All warranty claims must be reported promptly and are subject to inspection and approval by Fine Touch Services prior to repair.
Warranty Term
All pergolas, outdoor structures, decks, and fences installed by Fine Touch Services are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.
Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers installation-related defects and workmanship only, as determined by inspection from Fine Touch Services. Coverage applies to structural components installed by Fine Touch Services.
What Is Covered
● Structural failure caused by improper installation or workmanship
● Fastener failure, loosening, or separation resulting from installation defects
● Improper alignment or instability caused by installation-related issues
What Is NOT Covered
This warranty does not cover damage, movement, or failure caused by, including but not limited to:
● Normal settling, wood shrinkage, warping, twisting, or cracking
● Natural weathering, fading, discoloration, or surface checking
● Soil movement, erosion, or ground conditions beyond installation control
● Damage caused by impact, misuse, overloading, or neglect
● Acts of nature, including storms, wind, flooding, or freeze/thaw cycles
● Damage caused by insects, animals, or vegetation
● Alterations, additions, or repairs performed by anyone other than Fine Touch Services
Material Limitations
This warranty does not extend or replace any manufacturer warranties on materials used (such as lumber, composite decking, hardware, or coatings). Manufacturer warranties, if applicable, are subject to their own terms and conditions.
Maintenance & Client Responsibilities
Proper care and maintenance are required to maintain warranty coverage, including:
● Routine inspection and upkeep
● Sealing, staining, or painting as recommended
● Preventing excessive loads or improper use
Failure to properly maintain the structure will void this warranty.
Labor & Repair Terms
● Approved warranty repairs will be performed one time only.
● Repairs are limited to the affected area and do not extend the original one-year warranty period.
Inspection & Approval
All warranty claims must be reported promptly and are subject to inspection and approval by Fine Touch Services prior to repair.
